TiPDF Privacy Policy
How TiPDF handles account, analytics, support, and document data.
Last updated: 2026-07-18
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how the TiPDF service at tipdf.com handles information when you browse the site, create an account, use a document tool, or request support.
Information We Handle
Depending on how you use TiPDF, we may handle:
- Account information — such as your name, email address, authentication records, and account settings.
- Service and device data — such as requested pages, timestamps, browser type, device type, approximate network information, error records, and security events.
- Support information — the messages and attachments you choose to include in a support ticket.
- Document content — only as described by the selected tool's processing notice. Many tools process files locally in your browser. Workflows that require a configured conversion or AI service disclose the transfer before use.
- Cookies and local storage — used for authentication, security, preferences, and service operation.
- Analytics data — TiPDF may use configured analytics services to understand aggregate site usage. Browser privacy controls or blockers may limit this collection.
TiPDF does not currently advertise a paid plan. If payment functionality is introduced, the checkout page and an updated policy will describe the payment processor and related data handling.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate and secure the service, authenticate accounts, complete the workflow you request, diagnose failures, provide support, prevent abuse, understand product performance, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Document Processing
Local processing keeps document bytes in the browser for that workflow. A local tool may still load application code, fonts, or language models from TiPDF or another disclosed source.
Some Office conversion and AI-assisted workflows require a configured remote provider. TiPDF shows a notice before sending document content for those workflows. Provider handling and retention may be governed by that provider's terms and the deployment configuration. Do not approve a remote transfer unless you have the necessary rights and it satisfies your confidentiality requirements.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information to service providers that operate the application, to comply with lawful requests, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or to protect users and the service. We limit disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the purpose.
Retention and Security
Retention depends on the data type and configured service. Account and support records may remain until deleted or no longer needed. Local document processing does not create a server copy through TiPDF's application workflow. Remote providers may apply separate retention rules.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep an original copy of important files and avoid submitting sensitive information when the disclosed workflow does not meet your requirements.
Your Choices
You may update available account details in settings and request help through a support ticket. You can also use browser controls for cookies, storage, and analytics. Some controls may prevent authentication or other service features from working.
Children
TiPDF is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the processing described here. Do not create an account or submit personal information unless you are permitted to do so under applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be announced through the service where appropriate.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, sign in and open a support ticket from Account Support. Do not attach passwords, authentication secrets, or unrelated sensitive documents.
